Date: July 14, 2012 Event: Queen + Adam Lambert Type: Concert Televised: Yes Venue: HMV Hammersmith Apollo City: London State: United Kingdom Country: England |
Highlights
The last of the Queen + Adam Lambert concerts ("for now", according to Adam). Celebrity members of the audience include William Orbit, members Ryan and Andy of Lawson and Lulu.
With no longer the need to pace himself vocally, Adam goes all out for this gig, hitting lots top glory notes. The energy of this concert is very high, and can be seen especially in songs like "Another One Bite the Dust", "The Show Must Go On" and "We Are the Champions". Adam forgets a whole verse in the turbo version of "We Will Rock You", but saves the song by wailing through it. "Somebody to Love" is arguably the best version on this mini-tour to date, sung in a gospel style.
Will there be more to this collaboration? One can hope!
