Date: July 19, 2012 Event: 2012 OC Fair (Trespassing Promo) Type: Concert Televised: No Venue: Pacific Amphitheatre City: Costa Mesa State: California Country: United States |
Highlights
Following his successful mini-tour with Queen, Adam returns to United States to continue promoting Trespassing.
Tonight, he performs at the Pacific Amphitheatre – the first time since the Glam Nation Tour (where he performed twice at this venue). Adam is extra chatty and funny at this gig, casting aside scripted banter to chat to the audience about performing with Queen.
This set features a revised setlist, which includes "Fever" from his first album. But what's especially interesting is the powerful premiere of "Pop That Lock" – which samples Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" during the breakdown towards the end. Adam also performs a gorgeous version of "Outlaws of Love" that is accompanied by his backup singers (the Vajayjays).
