Type: Concert
Televised: No
Venue: Seoul (Jamsil) Sports Complex
City: Seoul
Country: South Korea

Highlights

Performing as the headliner of Super Sonic Korea, this concert kick-starts the Asian leg of the Queen + Adam Lambert tour. The concert also marks the first time Queen has ever performed in Korea.

With the Asian environment comes a slightly different setlist: The Freddie Mecury-penned "I Was Born to Love You" makes its way into the repertoire in place of "Love Kills".

Originally a Freddie Mercury solo single, this song was subsequently reworked by Queen after Mercury's death, and gained much popularity in Japan (and Asia) in 2004 due to the popular Japanese drama "Pride". While Queen had previously performed this song in Japan during their tour with Paul Rodgers, it was as an acoustic piece with Brian and Roger on vocals. The version performed in Seoul features Adam on vocals and is performed as a hard rock ballad similar to the Queen version.

Perhaps due to festival time restrictions, "The Show Must Go On" is not performed during this concert, and both the guitar solo and drum duet are shortened.[1]
