If you have an audience video recording with great audio, and you want to share the audio in its original quality without having to upload massive video files, here's instructions on how you can extract only the audio from the video:

Windows instructions

  1. Download and install this software called TSMuxerGUI http://www.videohelp.com/tools/tsMuxeR
  2. Open the first video file by clicking on Add.
  3. Uncheck everything except the audio file. The audio file may be one of the following formats AC3, WAV, MP3, AAC (in TSMuxerGUI this may appear as "MPEG-Audio").
  4. Select the Demux radio button.
  5. Click Start Demuxing.
  6. The resultant file is the audio of the video in its original quality.
  7. Repeat steps 1-6 for the rest of your videos.
